Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $75.00, paid every four weeks.

Youth Chamber Ensembles

$150

with ASO Coaches

Calendar Feb 2, 2026

The Youth Chamber Ensembles program gives young musicians the opportunity to enhance their musical development by studying and performing chamber music under the guidance of professional instructors. Instrumentation varies depending on the repertoire, which includes a mix of strings, woodwinds, brass, harp, and piano. Coached by our expert faculty, students learn standard repertoire and contemporary music through bi-weekly coaching, independent rehearsals, and performances.

ASOYE and String Academy students are encouraged to register, as being in a chamber ensemble not only strengthens individual musicianship and ensemble skills, but also fosters leadership, collaboration, and community engagement - values at the core of ASO’s mission.

  • Ensembles meet weekly from February through mid-May (times scheduled around participant’s availability)
  • Ensembles will be coached twice a month (1 hour per session) and will rehearse independently twice a month.
  • Ensembles will perform on the winter and spring recitals.
  • Apply as a pre-formed group or be placed with a group that has a similar skill level.
Payment plan available: $50 deposit plus 2 payments of $50.00, paid every four weeks.
